The evening visit has its own calendar
From 15 October to 31 March, the Alhambra’s Nasrid Palaces open for night visits only on Fridays and Saturdays, from 20:00 to 21:30. Check this before planning a Granada weekend: a free weekday evening does not mean a visit can be booked. The official Nocturna product page displays €12.73 for an ordinary ticket. We have not checked places on a specific date. Sources: the Patronato’s opening hours and ticket page.
What the night ticket covers
The route includes Mexuar, Comares, the Palace of the Lions and the Lindaraja corridor; the product page also lists the Palace of Charles V and the Gate of Justice. Entry to the Nasrid Palaces must be at the time printed on your ticket: the 20:00–21:30 window does not allow arrival whenever you like. The Patronato asks visitors not to use flash during the night visit. Sources: Nocturna ticket page and official route description.
The Generalife at night needs a different ticket
Do not confuse the palaces with the Generalife gardens and palace. Their night visit is separate and, in the current autumn window, ends on 14 November: from 15 October it runs on Fridays and Saturdays, also from 20:00 to 21:30. The Nasrid Palaces’ calendar continues until March. The two routes therefore overlap in time; for a single evening, choose the experience you want rather than assuming you can do both consecutively. For daytime gardens as well: Experiencias
Alhambra Experiencias is displayed at €22.27. It combines the illuminated Nasrid Palaces on the evening of the ticket date with Alcazaba, Partal and Generalife the following day. In winter the daytime area opens from 08:30 to 18:00. This does not include a second daytime visit to the Nasrid Palaces, nor can both visits be compressed into the same day. It makes sense if you can keep the next morning free. Source: official Experiencias ticket page.
The useful comparison for two adults
Worked example using displayed prices: two Nocturna tickets are 2 × €12.73 = €25.46; two Experiencias tickets are 2 × €22.27 = €44.54. The difference is €19.08 for the couple, or €9.54 per person, to add the daytime areas specified in that ticket. These are not final quotes: the general tariff page mentions fees for online purchases, so check the total in the summary before paying. We neither add an unverified fee nor assume it is zero. Check these details before buying
Open the official portal, select the visit type, then check the date, palace entry time, visitor names and total. Bring the original identity document required at entry. The terms do not allow cancellation or ordinary date or time changes; amendments to visitor identification have specific limits. Refund exceptions exist, including a visit being impossible for reasons attributable to the Patronato, so do not describe every refund as impossible. The complex closes on 25 December and 1 January. How to build the weekend
If Granada is a short stop, decide first whether you want evening interiors or a wider daytime visit. Scheduling dinner in the same window creates an avoidable conflict: leave room for entry and getting around. If choosing the two-day ticket, do not fill the following morning with an early departure. Compare available time and the spaces you want to see as well as the price. This is not a review based on a personal visit.
