What is actually supported

Flying Blue’s official Bangkok Airways page describes spending miles on Economy and Business awards. It does not support promises of Flying Blue earning, XP or unrestricted FlyerBonus conversions. A redemption partnership does not merge programmes. Start with the documented function and the carrier shown on the individual ticket.

Check two carrier codes

The described award requires Bangkok Airways marketing under code PG and operation by Bangkok Airways. A codeshare under another code is not automatically equivalent. Search using miles on Air France, KLM or their apps; Flying Blue Customer Service is another listed channel. Do not invent a transfer between the two programmes.

A destination is not an available seat

Koh Samui or another Thai destination can be a search goal, but the page guarantees neither every route and date nor Business on every aircraft. Mileage depends on where and when you travel. Check itinerary, time and cabin in the result. No seats found does not establish that the partnership has ended.

Cash and award conditions

Flying Blue’s general rules require cash for taxes and surcharges and provide no miles or XP on award tickets. September’s Light, Standard and Flex options concern Air France and KLM; standalone partner awards retain their own structure. Read the specific Bangkok Airways conditions rather than applying an Air France fare rule automatically.

Include the connection

Compare the regional award with the cash price on the same date. After an intercontinental flight on a separate ticket, allow time for delays, baggage and reaching the right terminal. Do not value lounges or services unverified in the booking. A useful award should simplify the trip, not make it fragile for a small mileage saving.
