Spring already has a visiting window

Keukenhof has announced its season from 18 March to 9 May 2027, daily from 08:00 to 19:00, including Sundays and public holidays. Admission closes at 18:15. The park is at Stationsweg 166A in Lisse: do not confuse the visit with a walk around central Amsterdam. This is the operator’s published calendar, checked on 1 November 2026. Check again for changes before travelling.

From €21 does not mean €21 on every date

The current official FAQs announce that new-season tickets are available and list adult prices from €21 online or €27 at the gate. For children aged 4–17, the starting prices are €11 and €15 respectively; ages 0–3 enter free. These are starting prices, not a quote for your chosen day. An arithmetic example at the published starting prices: two adults and a seven-year-old total €53 online or €69 at the gate. The €16 difference compares those starting figures; it does not guarantee a discount for every slot. Parking, transport and extras are separate; parking is listed at €10 online or €15 at the gate.

Book your arrival, then enjoy the garden

An online ticket is valid within the booked admission slot, rather than allowing unrestricted early or late arrival. The FAQs warn that you may have to wait if you miss your slot and the park is full. Once admitted, you may stay until 19:00; the slot is not a fixed visit duration. For a quieter arrival, the operator suggests before 10:30 or after 16:00, without promising an empty park.

Changing a ticket is not cancelling it

For tickets bought through keukenhof.nl, the FAQs allow a change of day or slot until 24 hours before the planned visit, using the link in the confirmation email and subject to the new slot being available. They separately state that purchased tickets cannot be cancelled. Tickets are not personalised, so valid tickets can be passed to someone else. If you buy from another organisation, contact that seller; do not automatically apply the official website’s conditions to its product.

The perfect flowering date cannot be bought

Bloom depends on the weather: Keukenhof does not guarantee a single best week. Early species include crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and early tulips, followed by later varieties. Choose a date that fits your trip and check the bloom report close to departure, rather than treating a photograph as a forecast. Growers’ fields around the park are not freely accessible walking routes: the operator prohibits walking through them to protect the bulbs. The cover shows the actual garden on 20 April 2024, not the future 2027 season.
