Two different mechanisms

Earning on spending and rounding up are different mechanisms. The former awards points for eligible transactions according to your plan; Spare Change uses additional money to purchase points. The current Italian page includes earning for Standard and Plus. Not every point on the free plan therefore comes from a round-up.

The current earning table

Standard and Plus earn one RevPoint per EUR 10 of eligible spending; Premium one per EUR 4; Metal one per EUR 2; Ultra one per euro. Transaction exclusions matter as much as the ratio. Do not apply the table to every euro passing through the account. Separate eligible purchases from withdrawals, transfers and transactions excluded by the terms.

A comparable example

For EUR 1,000 entirely eligible, without promotions or round-ups, the arithmetic ratio gives 100 points on Standard or Plus, 250 on Premium, 500 on Metal and 1,000 on Ultra. This is not a forecast for your next statement: excluded categories and transaction-level posting rules still matter. It establishes scale before considering a paid plan.

Check settings and balance

In RevPoints, inspect earned points separately from Spare Change purchases. Do not enable automatic purchasing under the impression that it is free cashback. RevPoints are not refundable money; the Italian help page states three years’ validity from issue. Track the expiry of individual credits and identify a practical use before building a balance you may never redeem.
