London Standard Value starts at 1,100 points
For a one-way journey to or from London, the official FAQ lists 1,100 points in Standard Value and 1,650 in Standard Anytime. Plus requires 2,200 or 2,750 respectively; Premier Anytime costs 3,300. On 4 November 2026, the Dutch page confirms these amounts, while some marketing pages in other languages still show 1,000 for London. Plan using the FAQ and recheck the total in your account. This is a guide to the published table: we have not verified seats on a particular train or date.
Continental routes still start at 1,000
Between France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, the table lists a one-way Standard Value ticket at 1,000 points, Plus Value at 2,000 and Premier at 3,000. Value inventory is limited; Anytime remains available until the train is full. Direct Eurostar Snow services and journeys wholly within the Netherlands or Germany are excluded. A connecting journey such as London–Cologne does not become one reward: a points ticket covers one stage, such as London–Brussels. Sources: the official FAQ and guide.
Reward or small discount: two different calculations
In the euro market, discounts start at 170 points for €5, capped at €30 per booking; actual options appear at payment. The first tier works out at about 2.94 euro cents per point. Worked example, not an observed fare: if a journey you would otherwise buy for €90 were available as a 1,100-point reward, its gross ratio would be about 8.18 euro cents per point. Rewards earn no further points and need comparing with a ticket whose conditions suit you. Do not extrapolate the first discount tier automatically to any balance: options and a per-booking cap apply.
Giving up the journey matters more than the minimum
Issued reward tickets are non-refundable: if you decide not to travel, the points are not returned. The terms allow one exchange before departure, subject to availability; Classique and Avantage members may face a Contact Centre service fee. Request the reward at least one hour before departure while still observing the check-in deadline. Before spending points, compare departure time, class, conditions and the cash fare you would actually pay. Source: Club Eurostar terms, version dated 29 October 2026, section 6.
