Miles & More Gold Mastercard: bonus, fee and conditions

The detailed Miles & More page for Italy’s Advanzia Gold Mastercard lists 6,000 welcome miles with a first eligible purchase within three months. The previous 9,000-mile bonus is not a universal current offer. Campaigns can differ; save the terms shown for your application and establish eligibility before including the bonus in your calculation.

“Zero” does not settle the fee question

Miles & More participation costs EUR72 annually, charged in EUR6 monthly instalments; the product page offers the first six months free. The issuer separates the card fee from programme participation. Looking only at a zero card fee gives an incomplete comparison. Eligible purchases earn one mile per EUR2: EUR18,000 would yield 9,000 miles before bonuses, exclusions and costs.

Cash withdrawals have a cost

The July 2026 terms list a cash-withdrawal charge of 4%, minimum EUR3, plus interest from the transaction date. This is not a free-cash card. For purchases, check the due date and full repayment: interest or late payment can readily outweigh expected mileage benefits. Do not finance extra spending to obtain a bonus.

Mileage protection has conditions

Expiry protection requires holding the card for at least three months and making an eligible, mileage-earning, non-refunded purchase each month. Possession alone is insufficient. If miles are about to expire, a new application is not an immediate solution: check the effective date and transactions in your Miles & More account.

One lounge voucher, not unlimited access

One annual Lufthansa Business Lounge voucher is provided, valid for twelve months and tied to an eligible departure under the terms. It is not status, does not guarantee Fast Track and does not automatically cover every airport or group airline. Value only an entry you would use and that is not already included in your ticket.
