A promotional minimum, not a seat already found

Flying Blue’s official November 2026 Promo Rewards list shows Europe–New York on Air France in Business from 45,000 Miles, labelled −25%. The card is not marked Extra Exclusive. This is an announced promotion, read on 2 November; we have not verified a seat on a specific date or obtained a complete quote. The figure is an advertised minimum, not your final itinerary price or a promise of a return journey.

Book in November, travel until April

The programme page invites bookings in November for travel until 30 April 2027. Its Business list also shows Beijing on Air France and Cape Town on KLM from 63,750 Miles: alternatives to search, not confirmed availability. Long-haul promotions cover flights to and from Europe and may include European connections through Paris or Amsterdam. That does not mean every Italian, German or Austrian departure airport offers the same minimum on every day.

The key condition is the Light fare

Since September 2026, the Promo price is the Light fare. The page says Light ordinarily cannot be changed or refunded; Platinum and Ultimate members can change and refund Light free of charge. Economy and Premium Light do not include checked baggage. Do not automatically apply that statement to Business; read the cabin’s services in the booking summary. A low Miles figure needs to be weighed against the ticket restrictions, rather than compared only with another number.

When to start searching

If New York is already your goal, search on Air France or KLM using your actual dates and passengers. Before transferring points, check airports, stops, carrier and cabin on every segment, total Miles, taxes, surcharges and currency. Cash charges remain separate and are not covered by Miles. A higher search price or no available seats does not automatically contradict the promotional minimum. This article confirms no specific cash amount, available seat or particular cabin.
