Compare equal validity periods

The old distinction between capped Airalo data and unlimited Holafly no longer describes the US catalog. Airalo also sells unlimited packages and lists categories with data, calls and texts. Comparing unlimited plans of equal duration in US dollars gives: 7 days, Airalo 25 and Holafly 27.50; 15 days, 46 and 50.50; 30 days, 68 and 73.90. The differences are US$2.50, US$4.50 and US$5.90. Unlimited does not mean unchanging speed

Airalo documents possible speed reductions under individual package conditions; Holafly refers to local operators’ fair-use policies. No universal 50 GB threshold or common reduced speed is verified here. Before paying, open the chosen plan’s details and check whether any threshold applies daily or across the whole validity period. For work, performance after that threshold matters as much as the initial price.

Hotspot and route can change the choice

Holafly’s US prepaid product allows 1 GB per day of sharing. It is neither hotspot-free nor unlimited for a connected laptop. For Airalo, check the selected package’s rule rather than applying a statement to the whole brand. Holafly lists AT&T and T-Mobile but warns of possible instability around places such as Page and the Grand Canyon. A nationwide network name does not guarantee continuous reception on every route.

Activate at the right time

Airalo distinguishes plans that start on connection to a supported network from those that begin at installation. Holafly describes destination activation for prepaid plans, with a caveat that some iOS procedures can combine installation and activation. Follow both product and device instructions.
