Which product are you buying?

Holafly sells different kinds of products. Destination prepaid plans are chosen around travel days, while Holafly Plans includes global subscriptions. The Unlimited page displays a launch price of €59.95 per month, immediate activation on purchase and renewal. Do not apply the idea of buying now and starting only on arrival to that subscription.

Unlimited data and hotspot

Unlimited data does not guarantee constant speed: local operators may apply fair-use policies. Tethering is also product-specific. The Japan prepaid plan lists 1 GB per day for sharing. Neither “hotspot is impossible” nor “unlimited sharing” describes that product accurately. This distinction can matter greatly when a laptop uploads files or updates applications.

A concrete cost comparison

The official Japan table lists US$27.50 for 7 days and US$50.50 for 15 days. These are observed public prices, not a completed checkout. Check currency, selected duration and final total. Do not treat dollars as euros or compare against fixed-data packages without considering their allowance. Light users may not benefit from unlimited data; for work, performance after any speed reduction matters too.

Prepare activation

For prepaid plans, Holafly describes activation at the destination, but its FAQ warns that some iOS procedures may combine installation and activation. Follow the device instructions and check app status. Do not transfer subscription phone features to prepaid products: Unlimited’s included number supports incoming SMS and VoIP calls, not conventional incoming cellular calls.
