A clear spending example

For Japan, Saily’s product cards show 1 GB for 7 days at US$3.99, 5 GB for 30 days at US$10.99 and 20 GB for 30 days at US$24.99. These are displayed website prices to recheck in the order summary. They are not euro prices or offers for every destination. A larger package makes sense only if you use its allowance before expiry: a lower price per gigabyte does not necessarily mean a cheaper trip.

Two kinds of unlimited

Saily also sells unlimited packages. For regular unlimited plans, the terms provide 3 or 5 GB at full speed per local calendar day, depending on destination, then 1 Mbps until reset. Japan specifies 5 GB. Ultra is different: 30 GB at full speed per monthly billing cycle, then 1 Mbps. Do not multiply that monthly allowance by the number of travel days or confuse the two products.

Start dates and renewal

Regular prepaid packages have a standard 180-day activation window; if not activated sooner, they start automatically at its end. Subscriptions begin on purchase. Automatic top-up is an option to enable, not free replenishment. Before paying, record the activation deadline, validity and option status. After returning home, check for any renewals still enabled.

Phone numbers and security scope

“Saily is always data-only” no longer describes the entire range. Separate phone options require identity verification and an active phone plan, so do not expect a local number with every purchase. Security features described in the terms may reduce certain risks but do not guarantee absolute protection. Our assessment covers these verifiable features, without claiming superior network performance or inventing personal use.
