Identify the aircraft, not only the cabin

ITA describes its A330-900neo with 291 seats: 30 Business, 24 Premium Economy and 237 Economy. Check the model and seat map for your departure; “Business” alone does not identify the cabin. Recheck the assignment near travel, especially when the seat drove your choice. Aircraft scheduling can change.

A flat bed is a verifiable feature

Airbus documents 30 fully flat Business seats and an interior by Walter de Silva. That provides a concrete basis for evaluating an overnight flight. It does not establish sleep quality, noise or personal comfort, which require documented observation. Use the seat map to assess proximity to lavatories and service areas as well as window or centre preferences.

Separate equipment from service

Published Wi-Fi capability does not guarantee speed, price or continuous service. Check your flight’s terms and prepare work offline. Verify menus, meal availability and kit contents for route and date. We do not attribute measured response times, food scores or quality percentages to the airline without verified experience.

Points and upgrades: eligibility first

ITA’s current options include Miles & More awards and upgrades using miles or eVouchers. A cheap Economy ticket is not automatically upgradeable: check fare, target cabin and availability. From Premium Economy, compare the ticket plus upgrade with Business bought directly. Do not count the original ticket’s value twice.

The comparison that establishes value

Compare the direct flight’s final price with suitable alternatives for timing, baggage and flexibility. For an award, subtract taxes and surcharges from the cash fare you would actually pay, then divide by miles used. An unrealistic full fare inflates the result. Without a live search, we quote no universal mileage minimum or promised saving percentage.
